Friendly staff, good breakfast but too expensive.

Friendly staff Very large comfortable bed Spotlessly clean Reasonably priced excellent breakfast Location was perfect. Just inside the city walls, so 3 mins walk to centre. Free parking just outside the wall, maybe 100m away. Parking spaces were limited so this might be a problem in high season, but perfect for us.

Lovely Friendly owner. she organised a taxi for us to get to the train station. Cash only, so be prepared for that. The hotel doesn't open until 4 pm, so there is no point in arriving any earlier than that. The lady owner was very helpful when we arrived at one pm. We rang her and she told us where we could leave our bags safely until the hotel opened. The hotel was very near one of the Gates to the city so easy access to the walls and a 5 minute walk to the centre.

The breakfast was quite basic, but it was inexpensive so that was fine.

Incredibly- not the only place along the Romantic Road- they don't accept credit cards and we had to withdraw a lot of money to pay for the hotel. We didn't get any receipt which we found "fishy"

Excellent location within the city walls but not in the crowded center

The bathroom exhaust system somehow allowed the smell of cigarette smoke to permeate the bathroom which got more and more unpleasant later in the day and into the night.

The location was excelent! The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

It should have a small refrigerator. You can only pay cash because they didn't accept credit cards
