Location Location Location! Absolutely fantastic..

Very small room, and bed could be replaced it seemed to sink in the middle..

Inside the old town gates, just 100 metres from Parliament House and a short walk into the famous streets of the old city of Quebec and to the magnificent Citadelle. Easy to unload luggage, although the car park (which was free) was a 5-10 minute walk away. Not really much of an inconvenience, as the car stayed there our whole stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was not large, but we loved the exposed bricks and the comfortable bed. Breakfast was a lesson in disciplined behaviour, which suited my personality but not my wife's. Only certain things were self-service; you had to ask for pancakes, yoghurt, juice and coffee & tea. Slightly limited choice compared to the best but still more than satisfactory.

The car park could have been a bit closer, but as it was free, I'm not complaining. The strict enforcement of the breakfast code of behaviour was strange but oddly amusing. Be sure to take your dirty plates back to the dish tray before you leave.

Charming old building centrally located in Old Quebec just outside one of the gates in the old wall. Walking distance to restaurants and sightseeing. Good breakfast with ample alternatives.

No complaints other than some of the service staff did not understand or speak English well but with hand gestures and high school French we understood each other well. The staff in the reception and breakfast area had good command of English. I
