We booked the hotel, but when we arrived after 6 hours bus ride, we found out, the hotel does not have permission to accommodate foreigners. Staff not very helpful, claiming the info was on bookings website, which was not. Blaiming Bookings.

Fatal lack of information, misleading.

Nothing...I DID NOT STAY AS PER THE SCHEDULE I got a call around 7 / 730 a.m. on the morning of the scheduled/ supposed check in. The male who conversed with me was in a hurry and when I interrupted to ask for driving directions and his name...he disconnected abruptly In less than two hours from then, a lady called me representing the hotel, when I asked her who she was and about the guy who spoke earlier..she didn't allow me to speak. I repeatedly asked the same questions..she then said she's from oyo and not the property AND ONLY pestered me saying she will be sending a link for payment which I need to pay right away...THIS WAS THE RED FLAG I said I will only pay by cash or other means, other than clicking a link she sends ...she too disconnected Getting suspicious with these two calls, I was worried about my safety and didn't stay there neither cancel as I was no more interested in getting in touch with them Request booking.com to look into this matter whether it's a scam attempt by a third party or oyo or the property management or a cartel amongst all three
