Super Hotel O Madurai Near Bus Stand formerly Lakshmi Palace

We booked and turned up. We were very rudely told that the have not a licence for foreigners! And, that the hotel was full. I pointed out that they must have seen my very un-Indian name at time of booking. They were not interested. Shameful behaviour. Booking.com must ban these charlatans. Moreover... there was NO evidence of OYO ownership. It is still Lakshmis 'Palace'. Joke.

Nothing. They accepted my reservation even though the hotel is full. When I arrived they brought me to another terribile hotel and made me pay the same price.

Be careful. They accept reservation even though the hotel is full. In the other hotel when they brought me everything was dirty and nothing was working.

Location near bustand

The bedspread was not clean. Bathroom was dirty.

I have never seen such a rude worst behaviour with customer, one guy in the reception was drunk and he is not able to speak other than Tamil,and also he is getting irritated for not understanding English,not happy to show me the room ,he is just like demanded me first pay for the room and only can see the room .I was requested him to connect the owner if he can speak English so that I can communicate properly, the owner first accepted my request and told his staff to show me the room AC is not working I asked him to plz fix then only I will check in ,the staff was absolutely terrible using some bad words and called to owner and the owner said to me to go and look some where else

The cleanliness was outstanding. Overall a nice and comfortable stay. loved it. Had a lovely stay. Our room was comfy, clean and we had Excellent service.

A nice experience overall. Staff was kind and always helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and it had a comfortable bed...Rooms are spacious and clean
