Der Wasserdruck im Bad ist nicht gut

Great place to stay in Uppaveli. Close to the beach, close to the Main Street and some good local restaurants. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Elena and her staff are friendly and welcoming.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt um zwei Nächte verlängert. Die Lage zum Strand ist einfach top. Direkt am Strand stehen Gratis Liegen zur Verfügung. Elena hat eine kleine grüne Oase geschaffen, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Sie hat uns Ausflüge sowie Fahrer organisiert. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen, sie wird uns in Erinnerung bleiben. Strand, Bars, Supermärkte alles easy zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll und alles ist jederzeit sehr sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der wunderschöne Strand ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und das Personal war super Aufmerksam und sehr sehr freundlich.

Die Dusche ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber völlig ausreichend.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung ordentlich. Elena und ihre ladies haben sich gut um uns gekümmert und uns bei der Suche nach guten Angeboten für Pigeon Island sowie Flughafentransfer unterstützt :) Der Strand ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, dies gilt auch für Restaurants, ATMs und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Klare Empfehlung unsererseits!

Lediglich der Wasserdruck war manchmal gering, das ist aber nicht untypisch für die Unterkünfte hier.

Elena ist das Herzstück der Anlage und immer sehr bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Anlage ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und Restaurants, was für mich besonders wichtig war, da ich zum Tauchen dort war. Sie organisiert schnell und unkompliziert einen Roller und so war ich flexibel und selbstständig um auf Erkundung zu gehen. Ich mag es sehr, wenn ich mich für mich auch draussen hinsetzen kann und fand das Zimmer und Sitzgelegenheit sehr schön. Ich habe mich dort so wohl gefühlt, dass ich nun spontan nochmals hinfahre und wieder bei Elena bleiben werde.

Proximity to beach, restaurants, and a short way to trincomalee in a Tuk-Tuk. Make sure you read the signs on your door. There are warnings for travellers. Elena was a lovely host and was always happy to help us out or provide a cup of tea

No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms

The room was by far the most beautifully furnished one I have experienced in Sri Lanka in my budget category so far — and I have now been travelling through Sri Lanka for about half a year. I especially liked the thick duvet; it almost felt like being at home. What deserves special mention is the care and honesty of the owner. Only late in the evening after my departure did I realize that I had forgotten a small bag with money in the room. I contacted Elena, the bag was found, and I was able to pick it up again after another five-hour journey. I would like to express my sincere thanks for that once more.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt incredibly comfortable from the moment we arrived. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location was perfect — peaceful yet convenient to explore nearby attractions. The food, ambience, and overall experience exceeded expectations. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making the stay feel special and memorable. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
