Elena Garden Resort and Restaurant

Elena Garden Hotel is a great place to stay in Sri Lanka. The impressions were only positive thanks to the caring hostess, who tries to make her guests' stay as comfortable as possible. Everything in the hotel is thought out to the smallest detail, the atmosphere is nice and pleasant. I was very pleased with my stay and recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Sri Lanka.

Szukaliśmy noclegu tylko z klimatyzacją, co przekłada się na wyższą cenę na Sri Lance, niestety w naszym pokoju nie działała prawidłowo. Powiadomiliśmy o tym panią gospodarz od rana przy pierwszej okazji i sprowadziła fachowca. Musieliśmy zostawić pokój z naszymi rzeczami otwarty gdyż mieliśmy zaplanowany poranek. Po powrocie nadal nie działała i po wzięciu prysznica zostaliśmy poproszeni o poczekanie na zewnątrz żeby fachowiec mógł to naprawić. Czekaliśmy 2h na zewnątrz po czym okazało sie ze fachowiec jakis czas temu pojechał po narzędzia, ale nikt nas nie poinformował. Ostatecznie wrócił po jakimś czasie i naprawiał klimatyzację w pokoju sąsiadującym gdzie nie było jeszcze gości. Później miał zabrać sie za nasz i znow zmuszeni byliśmy opuścić pokój. Po powrocie okazało sie ze nic nie zostało naprawione! Nie dostaliśmy żadnej propozycji zamiany pokoju przez niedogodności czy rabatu. O godzinie 20 zmuszeni byliśmy spakować sie i znaleźć nowe miejsce bo nie chcieliśmy w takich warunkach spędzać kolejnej nieprzespanej nocy. Zapłaciliśmy tylko za 1 nocleg, ale w tym nie mieliśmy sprawnej klimatyzacji oraz byliśmy zmuszeni opuszczać pokój zostawiając nasze prywatne rzeczy wewnątrz i nie mogąc z niego swobodnie korzystać. Poinformowaliśmy panią gospodarz, która udawała że nie rozumie nagle angielskiego i nie wie o co nam chodzi, że napiszemy opinię, co spowodowało, że spróbowała ona na bookingu zrobić anulowanie naszej rezerwacji, tak jak gdyby nigdy nas tam nie było i nie mogli wystawić opinii. Dla większości osób pewnie nocleg był bezproblemowy, lecz gdy problemy sie pojawią trudno liczyć na uczciwość gospodyni.

Good location between the main road and the beach. Rooms OK for the price. It was practical and served its purpose as a base for 4 days.

it didn't feel very Sri Lankan, probably because Elena is Russian. Sri Lankan breakfasts weren't on offer, which for me was not a problem as I prefer to eat out. However, Elena seemed a bit put out that I chose to eat elsewhere. Also, she had rather loud music playing most of the time, when the place has a kind of laid-back vibe to it.

She personally monitors the quality of the services provided, invariably achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction. The hotel has a perfectly organized service, impeccable cleanliness of numbers and a pleasant environment that harmonizes with the surrounding natural landscape. Every morning, a beautiful view of the window to the lush green gardens, giving a sense of peace and inspiration, pleases. The traditional Sri Lanka cuisine is represented in all its beauty and diversity, allowing guests to enjoy authentic dishes prepared with soul and attention to details, also Russian pancakes, lick your fingers !! As a result, our stay in Elena Garden Resort left an indelible mark and formed an idea of ​​a real Lankan luxury, supplemented by a special Russian flavor. This unique symbiosis of cultures allowed us to feel like part of the fabulous world of hospitality and beauty.

Hotel con muy buena ubicación, a 2 minutos de playa y el personal muy agradable y muy atento. Incluso ofrecen toallas para la playa y paraguas por si llueve.

Las almohadas son un poco incómodas y no tenían botellas de agua, en general. Tampoco hay porta maletas.

Lovely and cute rooms, light and clean. Great AC and fan. 2 mins from the beach. Wifi is good. Elena is so great and very helpful

La posizione vicinissima ad un tratto molto bello e servito della spiaggia di Uppuveli. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile. La stanza pulita ed accogliente. Perfetto per qualche giorno al mare.

Gli ambienti esterni sarebbero da riordinare ma per lo più il tempo lo si trascorre in spiaggia quindi non è così importante
