Elena Garden Resort and Restaurant

Great spot, 2 min walk to the beach, lots of shade and trees in the communal areas, very scenic. Elena was the perfect hostess, v friendly, helpful and attentive. She organised some additional accommodation for us after we wanted to extend our stay. It's very clean, with Aircon, , nicely decorated, breakfast was well worth it. There is also a v nice bar restaurant on the beach with free sunbeds courtesy of Elena.

It was fabulous at Elena's stay. Since the numbers are so clean and cozy thought out before every little things, Elena also carries out to help with a transfer and it is very inexpensive you come here and absolutely do not think about anything, she will think about all trifles any whims. Any whims Elena is a very big well done I also want to add that it is very disappointing for Elena those people who put low points you don’t understand where you are going to see how much work is invested, she is constantly doing something in the garden. The territory where I want to sit on the terrace and drink tea and enjoy silence, many thanks to her it was an unforgettable vacation, I will recommend this place all, only here if you want a small paradise !!!!

Elena made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. It had great a/c and a ceiling fan. Lovely towels both for the room and the beach. Even a beach bag which was handy. We had breakfast once and it was delicious, I'd recommend the porridge. At the beach restaurant at the bottom of the lane we were able to use the sunbeds free of charge. We also ate there. The food was good and service friendly and professional.

You have your own chairs but share the balcony with the neighbours room. Not that we sat out very often.

Elena’s accommodation was fabulous because the numbers were so clean and very tasty smelled of clean bedding without any spots without any spots, a clean bathroom has a toothbrush towels for the beach and the beach bag is everything for comfort Elena thought out every little thing, I also bought a tour that was on the beach, which was more expensive from Elena, it was three times cheaper. I was satisfied with all delicious breakfasts and I also want to add who writes bad reviews guys you where you can only dream for such money with such comfort, I lived before in a five -star hotel, I found so much in the room of the web, dirt, dust and bed linen, so please respect Elena. She gets up early and performs physical work in the heat and also gives attention to all guests. She is such a beautiful woman, always a wonderful aroma blows from her. She also always smiles and is ready to use what is in her power !!! This is a unique and hard work of a person. Guests who give poor grades, even for a moment cannot think how much work is invested in this small hotel and how much love. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends !! Also a beautiful beach where you can sit on sun loungers, even if you do not buy a nonsense absolutely free. . Everything on the coast knows Elena and speak only well of her, they say that she is strong and protects her guests as her children. I lived in this hotel and felt safe. This is the only hotel where I was able to get enough sleep, as well as on its territory there are beautiful and wonderful animals and Elena to take care of them, it all speaks of a person. Elena is a an amazing host! She was always available and took care of everything. She organized all of my activities (diving school, dolphin Tour and pigeon island) and transport to my bus. The accomodation was really clean and had a laundry service. I always ate breakfast there. It is also super close to the beach (4 mins) and ai could use the sunbeds of a Restaurant on the beach for free! So all in all great recommendation!

It was exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted, something unique and different. A tropical beach garden vibe. There are only 5 units and so it was quiet. An older property that has been carefully renovated. The common area has a "beachcomber" feel, funky in a good way, with lots of plants and palms everywhere. Each unit has a covered terrace with chairs and a low table and is surrounded in greenery. I really liked the fact that the rooms are quirky and fun and refreshingly different from most accommodation. Only 1 small window in each unit but Elena has cleverly got around this by painting the walls bright white with colourful murals and linens and excellent lighting which made the whole room light and bright and full of colour. New floor tiles. The room had this unique fresh feel. There was ample furniture in the room to put things on. Fresh linens and plenty of towels. Strong fan and good A/C. The big bathroom had been modernised, and had both a cool shower and a hot shower with instant hot water and good water pressure. There was a small unit of shelves to put bathroom things on. Very clean. There is a small above ground plunge pool but it wasn't operating when I was there. But that doesn't matter at all as the ocean is only a stone's throw away. Plenty of parking for my motorbike. The property is safe & secure. Excellent location as it's a very short stroll to Upuvelli beach which is a wide beach with clean sand and a few cafes and restaurants. The beach slopes gently into the water, stays shallow for a little distance, and only had low waves which makes it ideal for families to swim in. Elena is very helpful and arranged snorkeling and an exceptional Ayurvedic massage, both at a discount. The property is quiet. I found the other guests friendly and Elena has created a happy, social place. No parties, no karaoke and so you can really relax here. It is an excellent price considering its proximity to the beach.

It's a great place.

Stayed here with my adult daughter. The room was so nice. It was much bigger than in the photos on booking. Com. There was room on each side of the bed, the bed is not against the wall. Elena thought of all the little things that make a trip wonderful. She has an arrangement with a restaurant on the beach to use their sunbeds free of charge. Elena also provides beach towels, beach blankets and a beach bag to take all your items to the beach. There was a lovely patio outside with a table, chairs, clothes horse and a hammock. This was a lovely space looking at the beautiful garden. Elena was a fab host very helpful with bookings for activities and transport. Choose here for a fab stay we highly recommend this accommodation.

The property is very beautiful and green. Rooms are nicely designed and are clean. The owner is very caring and helpful - she can help to arrange anything from tuk tuk to excursions. The breakfast is very tasty - Pria is a wonderful cook. It was all very tasty and fresh. My favorite are Sri Lanka omelette and coconut milk porridge. Fruits and veggies were super fresh. I enjoyed staying here and I think it a great value for money.
