La Couronne à Wissembourg

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Altstadt und hat einen tollen Blick auf das Rathaus. Sehr sauberes Zimmer neues Badezimmer. Wir wurden außerordentlich freundlich und herzlich willkommen geheißen

Uns hat besonders die Lage am Marktplatz gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war gut. Wir hätten uns etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt.

parking pas tout proche et absence d'ascenseur, mais franchement, sauf si l'on est handicapé, ce n'est pas gênant.

No kettle, or cups/glasses in room or do not disturb sign only 2 sockets (one was for lamp) Was told on arrival we would have to change room (2 nights) we packed up ready and then wasn’t required? On last day cleaner came into room at 9:00 (checkout 11) i was in the shower? On arrival staff in general appeared stressed & grumpy, owner (or manager) downright rude wanted to charge is €60 more than Booking price, however on leaving a different manager was present, she was the complete opposite?

This was a charming hotel in a charming town. It has a rustical appearance inside that conveys the Alsace feeling. The location is also outstanding for anyone visiting Weissembourg. The staff was also able to help me in German and in English.

The breakfast was good but nothing really special. Also, there was construction in progress on the property next door. This did not bother my stay but my room overlooked the construction site.
