Tyn-y-Coed Inn

The staff were extrememly helpful, checking in and out was made simple, Nathan was very helpful with back and forth commication sorting our room and adding extra bits for us and the mountain view from our room was out of this world! It was so quite and peaceful, and it was amazing waking up to nothing but the sound of birds and the wind in the trees. The views all around are breathtaking especially being in the mountains. The food was exceptional, breakfast and dinner, Sam made our mornings both mornings we went down for breakfast, had a laugh and she made the start of our days great, best breakfast in wales! I'll practice my bread tossing skills ready for when we stay again because we will definitely love to stay again, it was the best hotel experience yet. To the whole team from us thank you!!

Super friendly staff, especially the morning/breakfast staff. Comfy bed and newly refurbished bathroom. Good location to start lots of walks.

Not really anything that I didn't like. Just worth noting that you need to park up and register your vehicle ASAP, or risk getting a ticket posted. The car park is owned by another company, but is free if you are staying at the hotel...as long as you register as soon as you arrive. Food took a while to come out at dinnertime.

Well it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a place that overstates its accommodation. The price encouraged me to reserve a room. ( Don’t be fooled ! It’s not worth what it charges). The double room was tiny, the the bathroom was tiny & awkward to enter, the TV is on a swinging bracket that is very dangerous to leave it in the viewing position awhile moving around such a small room, the TV is an accident waiting to happen. Plus it doesn’t work. Cooked breakfast was about the only fresh thing about our overnight stay. (Very nice) served by a very nice and informative lady. We booked & payed for a room with a view ( car park was our view), we travel a lot, unfortunately this establishment is not on our list as a repeat stay.
