Lago Leisure Resort & Spa

We liked the location, rooms and calmness, staff friendliness. Lago provided cycles for us to roam around on the beachroad. It was a very good idea - we could cycle 3km stretch..

We don't have any major complaints. However, I would have liked it they have kept some evening events for families/guests staying there. ( Like a camp fire, rain dance setup, soothing music near the swimming pool/lake).

It’s an overstatement to call this a resort. Its a mini hotel. There is pool and there isn’t much other than that. The property is soo small and the location was a big problem. Honestly there is nothing around Cherai. The beach is dirty and smells. So it’s a bummer the resort doesn’t have much to offer to offset the location. The restaurant has very limited options despite having a Menu that says otherwise and I was told it takes 2 hrs for them to prepare dinner. This was at 8 pm and not a late night request. Avoid Cherai like a plague.And if you decide on it anyway, avoid this place and book an actual resort where you can at least take a walk.

staff were very helpful and lot of space and amenities for kids to enjoy. Place was very clean.

room size was quite small, specially the bathroom. the food option in restaurant is very limited
