Where the hotel was situated.

Arrived and the roof was leaking through the bar area, buckets everywhere. I know cannot be helped, however wasn't a good start after travelling from South Yorkshire and then a hard days work. Requested from the menu Aberdeen Steak, Fish, both times had to go check in the kitchen and both not available, asked what was available, went back to the kitchen and advised could rustle up a pie with over cooked frozen veg! Breakfast was A Banana ? Twin room, the beds were so tiny width/length and so close together, far too small for grown men. Size that you would get in a caravan for children. The double room, colleague got bitten all over from bed mites/fleas ? I do apologise for this review, however this is what was reported back to our management.

The rooms were not cleaned, they didn't even provide water , the bathroom door was stuck, the used cutleries were kept And on top there was no staffs in the hotel while checkin so we couldnt even ask for water

Comfortable bed, good food in bar and also nice touch with the breakfast provided in room ....a heated lunchbox to heat up croissants. Good value

Could do with a freshen up, the bathroom needs redone as was mouldy. A better breakfast option as 1 weetabix and 2 boxes of cereal doesn’t really cut it. One bed instead of two put together. WiFi needs improved. Exterior needs done as well it looks run down. This could be a really good place if it was done up. Toiletries in the bathroom should be more. Two different lamp shades. Needs tlc. Was fine for a few nights but it’s dark and needs to be a place you feel safe and welcomed into.
