We liked everything great location for both alderley edge and wilmslow .The only thing specifically for us was there wasn't a lift so the stairs were difficult for my husband.Staff we're brilliant taking our cases up for us,which was a big help

Room was clean and well equipped but the bed was hard, but only 1 teabag in the room was a bit mean. . Breakfast was great and Magda went above and beyond to make it a good experience - food was good quality and well cooked

My request for a quiet room was not fulfilled and I was in a room facing the busy main road and above a loudspeaker pumping out music. I did ask to change room but they were apparently fully booked.

The food in the restaurant was lovely. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

The noise from the road. Soap dispenser was labelled hand and body lotion. Music from bar carried to bedroom (though this didn't go on too late, so wasn't a massive problem). Room was clean, but not brilliantly so.

The location was very good for us; it is in a very pretty location. Lovely big bedroom with modern shower facilities. A characterful country style hotel.

In some ways, the hotel is a bit past it's best in places and is a bit tired.
