Stratton Cottage Guesthouse

Affordable price. Close to the centre. Room was clean

The shower had 2 settings scalding or off. Needed a cool shower but couldn't get one

The guesthouse was close to Shuttleworth where we were going the next day. Nice bath, beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels.

The room was very hot. We had a skylight but it didn't seem to open

It was clean

Noisy location, uncomfortable bed, no air conditioning

Location and parking !

I was given room 2 and it was next to the dining area and unfortunately for me there was a group of people who were chatting away till late. Not ideal when I have to get up early !

House keeping staff was great (Susan), very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room was tidy and clean and had plenty of towels and water tea & coffee.

May be having a breakfast facility would be grand even thw place on close to the high Street.

Clean, comfortable, good location, value for money with a homely feeling.

The room was clean and tidy! The shower didn't work correctly, and I was unable to use it. The room could also do with having a chair in to put the clothes you take off on in stead of the floor!
