Super friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely room, good shower and comfy bed. Great location overlooking the Mekong. I was made to feel very welcome :)

The owner was great. KY explained where to go to see some sights and eat. He arranged a Tuk Tuk to the border for us the next morning and had good coffee waiting for us first thing in the morning. Completely efficient and easy.

Since more than 20 years I will stay only at this nice and wonderful hotel, when I am in Chiang Khong. The owners are very lovely and helpful, organize whatever you need to stay comfortable, clean rooms with an astonishing view to the Mekong river and Laos on the other side. A big balcony to enjoy the evening time. 10 out of 10 points 👍 Always happy to stay here for 1 or more nights 👌

For the price it was good. Very helpful organising a driver to Chiang Mai when the arranged driver didn't arrive.

We stayed one night here on our way to Laos. As a budget accommodation in Chiang Khong, the Day Waterfront really can't be beat. It is clean and comfortable, plus it's situated right on the Mekong promenade, which is a great option for an evening walk along the river. The owners are very kind and helpful, there is a balcony overlooking the water, and there are plenty of solid restaurant options nearby.

Not the hotel's fault, for sure. But the night time karaoke from the Thai and Laos sides of the river was pretty loud. Not a deal breaker -- everywhere on or near the river will deal with the same. But it's probably a good idea to bring earplugs.
