Day Waterfront Hotel

The location is lovely, all rooms look out onto the river. Away from the main road so quiet at night and a simple breakfast of hot drinks, fruit and bread is provided. The rooms are very spacious and the aircon worked well. The owners are extremely welcoming. You can see the monks collecting alms along the river bank path in the morning.

The bathroom was a bit tired and smelled slightly of drains but was good enough.

Mekong river view from the room. Basic but very clean and comfortable. Liked the sliding door to the terrace with a fly screen. The owner couple were nice and very helpful. Nice to know he was also a Rotarian. Nice walking pavement along the Mekong river in front of the hotel. Close to several nice riverside restaurants.

Amazing view and balcony, really good value. Great staff, they were helpful in explaining our upcoming slow boat tour. We felt in really good hands. Right along the waterfront for a lovely stroll in the evening. Room is simple but it's all we needed.

Suggest to wear earplugs because the roosters crow all throughout the night.

Wonderful host, nothing too much trouble, helped us with our visa documents, provided early breakfast for us. Lots of storage space,, fabulous balcony overlooking the river, great location, lincredible sunrise, really good local restaurants nearby

The hotel was right on the waterfront, and I had a great view from the room balcony. The couple who run the hotel were the nicest managers I ever met.

Spacious clean room, right on the river. The staff was friendly and spoke perfect English - they helped us fill out our Laos visa. We stayed for one night, but I would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Chiang Khong.

No hot water and no breakfast facilities

The view of the river was great. Could not have been better. The room was a good size and had a balcony to sit at. The breakfast was a cup of tea or coffee and the staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Also a large easy to access car park.

There was nothing I didn't like. Will stay there next time I travel to Chiang Khong.
