It felt like i was in a retirement home.

The hotel is located in a park with the most beautiful scenery. You can go on beautiful walks, it really is special.

We paid €537 for 3 nights. Sadly the room allocated to us on arrival was unacceptable as it was under some stairs, no view and something I would compare to student accommodation at best. (If that) however we asked to change and were given a better room with view of the fountain which was much better so thank you for that. As we were travelling with hand luggage only, it was important we chose a hotel that didn’t need us to pack toiletries, sadly the shower gel/shampoo attached to the wall in the shower was empty. We approached the reception desk who handed us a half used bottle of head and shoulders and some medical looking body cleanser as housekeeping had closed. A minor point however with scorching temperatures and no air conditioning in the room, we were desperate to shower after a long day out. A simple yet important oversight where the bottle should have been refilled, however our fault for not pointing this out sooner. The lady on reception was very kind, couldn’t leave the desk so offering the alternative and under the circumstances was the only thing she could do and we were very grateful for this. Only one pillow per bed, not the best quality, 2 would have been better.

Nice quite place in a beautiful park. Perfect for relaxation.

Regarding breakfast, the scrumble eggs are not anymore creamy as in the past, but are a hard block as the everage hotels of nowdays..

Good sized room and bathroom. Great surroundings. Hotel is placed next to beautiful park. Very quiet and good place to relax. Very good breakfast with great selection of food.
