The Rake Tapas Accommodation

Room was lovely, staff great and food wonderful.

If you stay in room 4, it will be noisy until about 11pm so be aware. Other than that, lovely stay.

The the whole team were so friendly, nice and welcoming. We booked for a meal too and honestly, it was just such a fantastic treat from beginning to end. We will definitely be returning again for more accommodation and more food. Breakfast was perfect 👌

The staff were all amazing, breakfast was lovely as were the evening meals we had. Parking was great too

The WIFI was a bit dodgy which we rely on quite a bit, managed to get on to it downstairs in the pub bit though. The only thing missing was a decent sized TV, we couldn't really see it very well. Would be lovely to have one in the sitting area of the suite.

The staff were without exception efficient, helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurent was very good, if a little pricey. The breakfast was excellent.

Our room was directly above the main restaurant/bar area and the soundproofing was poor. The music and general noise kept us awake - we do tend to go to bed early and quite understand that people downstairs were quite rightly enjoying a good time, but the needs of the guests in accommodation need to be taken into account, too. It might have been different in another room and we were just unlucky to get the one we did, but the accommodation certainly isn't cheap and we would have hoped for a bit more peace and quiet.

Stayed last year but I couldn't use the jacuzzi bath as I'd had an operation so was really looking forward to that but they have changed the bath so disappointed with that, lighting to the room is poor and needs repairing, also steps can be quite precarious to get to your room, could do with hand rails on both sides. left phone charger and struggling to get it back

Breakfast was brilliant and the rooms are lovely.

We were fine as we are physically fit albeit 75 and 64 but someone with walking difficulties would struggle to get to the rooms.
