AUWhen we arrived for checking-in, we were told we have been upgraded to a different hotel accross the road called Melati Tanjong Beach Resort. That's where we stayed instead of this hotel. Location was great, right in front of beach.
The air con would shut down randomly, sometimes after 20 minutes, sometimes after 2 hours. When this happened while sleeping, it was a real pain. We asked for a solution, the staff offered changing rooms, however we declined because when we saw the other room, we knew the same problem was going to keep on happening as it was the same type of aircon and control, so there was no point in moving. Elevators work only until 12 am. TV didn't seem to work.

GR+ just a minute to the seaside + smiley nice staff + big comfy bed with 4 pillows
- no room cleaning. I had to search for clean towels and a broom to swipe the floor - dirty: stuff under the bed, dirty walls - the window doesn’t open, air quality in the room is fair - WIFI didn’t work in the room, I had to use staff office for work. They were nice and allowed me to use it - some items in the room are too old like a corroded tap
