University Club of San Francisco

It’s not far from everything and right across a cable car stop. The facility is clean even if some of the furnitures were outdated; I think it gave it a character lol. The breakfast was decent

My room was on the ground floor and I could hear the delivery trucks or the noise in the athletic club next door. I could hear the cable car bells but that didn’t really bother me as much as those trucks and people from the athletic club lol

The location. It allowed us to access the cable in front of the hotel. The place has a beautiful view on the fourth floor and a lot of history in the hotel. It is like a museum.

The breakfast was too sweet and not a variety, especially if you want more healthy food. Only cereal, coffee, yogurt, and sweet breads. Some fruits, too. Do not expect a hot breakfast. The last two nights, I could not sleep well because it was super hot and the fan was not working. The place does not have AC in the rooms.

The location is GREAT and it’s a great value.

the guest name should match the credit card payment. which is a big trouble especially for the business trips

Great location. Bought the 3 day cable/muni pass and enjoyed being able to jump on and off and get everywhere easily. Also, very walkable if you feel like hiking the hills.

The historic feel was really charming. It was quiet and clean.

Location. DR. Staff. Athletic facilities. Staff. Truly excellent. Enjoyed the press club memorabilia. Breakfast with a light Buffett is a nice touch

My room was on the first floor near the door to the rooms. I worried party folks would keep me up. One night they did but other nights were not a problem. Elevator could really use a fresh coat of paint. It is for many the first real impression of the club.
