The location just outside the town but within walking distance. Good choice of food on menu and good portion sizes. Good parking facilities. Great welcome by staff

Excellent breakfast.

Would have been nice to have a selection of fruit / yogurts on display. Also g/f bread would have been nice.

The great location. Easy and safe parking. Clean and spacious room. A big plus for the shower mat. A simple thing lacking in so many places but a safety essential, especially for older folk.

The beds were much too soft.

Access to Staff was bad. An event was on the Saturday night which should of been communicated because it was very loud and there was fracas at the end which went on till 1.45 was worried about security. No one around to discuss this with when I needed to check out and no reply to follow up email

The location was good and the staff were friendly.

The room was very stuffy and dated, the bathroom needed a deep clean especially the shower and there was cigarette burns and tears in the duvet blankets. We waited 45 minutes for our food to come and it was flavourless and poorly cooked, I had a mixed grill and none of it looked like it touched a grill, rock hard overcooked breaded mushrooms and unseasoned and undercooked meat which led to me being ill for several days after the visit.

Friendly staff and lovely food

The guest house was clean and staff friendly. Had everything we needed for one night stay.

The mattress was uncomfortable and could have benefitted from a mattress topper.
