We booked the honeymoon suite which was spacious and clean. The best part was the monkeys that love to come and visit . The staff went all out with an evening bonfire and cocktails by the lake . The pool is a great size to go for a proper swim . They have a great spa which is elevated amoungst the trees . I had a fabulous foot massage. ❤️

The menu didn’t have enough Sri Lanka. Dishes .

Eco friendly and lovely staff. The tents were great and no mosquitos and clean. Food was just something else - they make an effort and we loved it. Dinner by the river is special.

I stayed at Flameback Ecolodge in Sri Lanka and experienced something truly horrifying. During my stay, I was sexually assaulted by a member of the hotel's team. Despite reporting the incident to the hotel staff, they were unhelpful and even lied about calling the police. Not only did they refuse to provide the name of the perpetrator so I could report him, but their overall attitude was dismissive and uncaring. This hotel is extremely unsafe for women. The staff's negligence and refusal to assist in a serious situation is appalling. I urge other travelers, especially women, to avoid this hotel at all costs. Your safety and well-being are not guaranteed here.
