Beautiful location, very helpful staff who did everything they could to give us a comfortable stay

The Four bed villa was amazing, the location amazing, staff amazing, ranger amazing

The pillows are too high, soft pillows are needed

The location by the side of the lake was beautiful. The staff were very interesting very friendly and helpful and it felt like our home for the short time we were there. We both loved it and will definitely come back.

Gorgeous location. Staff helpful, polite and friendly. Impressed with the food and thought it was very reasonably priced, despite there being little choice of where to go as the hotel is far from anywhere else. Pool lovely. Glamping tents very clean with air con and a fan. Bed very comfy. We loved our 2 night stay. Would recommend.

Beautiful and luxurious safari tent accommodation on Weerawila Lake. I loved the tranquil location and enjoyed being completely immersed in nature with stunning views over the lake. The tents were well equipped and very comfortable with a decking area to sit and watch the wildlife. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful and organised a half day for me. There were other activities that could also be organised. Highlights for me included a massage with Charu in an open sided cabin high up in the tree canopy. Listening to the birdsong all around me whilst having a massage was an incredible experience. The second stand out experience was a bird watching tour within the Flameback Eco Lodge grounds with Thushan. He is very knowledgable and I learnt so much on our walk. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area is incredible and there are so many opportunities to take beautiful photos. The restaurant served a mixture of local and foreign cuisine and I enjoyed all the meals that I had there. The staff were always smiling and eager to please and I felt completely comfortable as a solo female traveller. Thank you to everyone at Flameback Eco Lodge for an unforgettable experience!

the place is located in a nice area, but at night, there is loud music from the village until 22 or 23 h. this was a disturbing the nature-setting. The Restaurant and "lounge" on the terrace did not look like on the pictures, but it was raining a lot, so they probably moved the Cusions and sofas there away. The Ranger for the Safari was very Good - or better: excellent! Very kind, and he knew a lot about the Parks an Animals.

Great accommodation on beautiful grounds. Helpful staff that arranged for a safari for us in yela and a candlelit dinner. Good onsite food too.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were on hand to provide suggestions on local tours without being pushy. They also went out of their way to make us egg hoppers one day which we were really grateful for. The villa is new and really well furnished with super comfy beds and pillows.
