Flameback Eco Lodge

Charmant hôtel lodge avec quelques tente de luxe et une villa. La villa est bien decorée, par contre il manque la clime au premier étage. Le personnel est au petit soin. Nous sommes partis très tôt le matin vers 4h pour des safaris et l hôtel nous a preparé des lunch breakfast a prendre a l' emporter. Ils nous avaient aussi organisé un cocktail avec un feu assez sympathique.

The manager warned three times us about leaving money in the accommodation. Which as frequent travellers both for business and leisure we found strange. We were also asked if house keeping could go in when we weren’t there , again strange. We were the only people in the resort and they knew we were out on a safari all day. Hidden in a closed bag inside clothes in a packing cube I had left money in a cloth bag, 500 usd, a few thousand in local and 200 sar was stolen, my friends euro coins bag was also taken and 2 lipsticks When I reported to the manager his first comment was I told you not to leave things in your room. I was dissuaded from going to the police, which I went anyway. It turns out the house keeper had been fired from a previous role for exactly the same thing, the money was never returned obviously, no discount offered on the stay either for the situation. They knew we were away for hours, they had plenty of time to go in and take stuff. The manager and police tried to suggest my friends if 20 plus years has stolen it or that we had made it up. We have no reason to make it up. The manager also called our driver to see if we had been trouble. He should be looking at his own staff he had been hiring and himself.

The rooms and grounds are beautiful, great facilities and activity offerings, very friendly and attentive staff, good food.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Amazing location with easy access to Yala national Park. Beautiful surroundings with exceptional natural beauty. Very friendly stuff and well equipped for safari and bird watching. We had a great Safari tour with private guide to see rare animals and well organized! We stayed with our 7y/o son and he enjoyed every minute of our visit. Our tent/room by the lake with airco was very unique. Highly recommended! Rooms

My wife left the wallet in the room for dinner and we asked them to clean the room The cleaning staff stole 400 dollars from her wallet.
