Close to nature, very nice people, really clean room and comfy and big bed!

My suggestion is to do your own research before go to Safari with recommended guide. Our experience was pretty poor. But anyway, hosts did their best to find us a guide :-)

What a special place and special people. They do everything to make it as perfect as it can be. Cook fresh (and a lot) good breakfast , fresh fruit. Amazing cabins with view. The nature is beautiful. Cute dogs. They can arrange safari for you which I would have loved to know because our tour was way more expensive. Also pick ups and taxi. Great price / value . Thanks for letting us stay here

Really lovely staff who waited for us as we arrived late after a long travel day. Lovely communal space and the rooms are bug and spacious, with a lot of your own private space to enjoy. The food is good too. Lovely service all round - helped us with tuk tuks and buses also. The dogs are very sweet and cuddly as a bonus.

The breakfast was very basic but nice. The view from our room of the lake was fantastic especially if you like wild life. We had all kinds of birds using the lake and even had a small herd of water buffalo swim by.

The door between the bathroom and main part of the cabin did not close or lock. No wardrobe or fridge.

My 3rd time staying here and it never disappoints, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms, hot showers, great food and wonderful hosts at a great price

Very nice stay in the middle of the nature and with a lovely view on the lake. The family is so nice and they help you with everything (food, safari, laundry, etc)

The location on the lake is lovely. The lady who runs it is friendly. The room is massive, very clean and good value for money as it can sleep 4 people. The bed was very comfortable. There is facilities to make tea in the bedroom. You can take dinner at the accommodation (extra cost).

My room did not lock from the inside. Bolt needs to be replaced. I was not given a padlock or key to lock my room when I left it. This wasn't a major issue as the area felt safe and the owner and family are around to keep any eye on things but it is a baseline expectation that wasn't met. If these issues were not present my rating would have been much higher because everything else about the room was great. Hopefully the owner can address these matters so future guests can book with confidence because the location and cabana are stunning. The dinner (extra cost) was uninspiring but adequate.

One of our favorite place in Sri Lanka. When arrived, we stayed two hours looking at all the animals and the birds by the lake, the sunset was beautiful. The little cabanas are so cute and nothing was missing. Finally, the whole family is so welcoming, we really enjoyed the dinner and the time spent with them.
