Yala Peace Cottages

Sehr schöne Anlage außerhalb der Ortschaft. Wir konnten viele wunderschöne Vögel von unserer Hütte aus beobachten. Zudem erklärte uns ein Mitarbeiter auf einem Spaziergang zum nahegelegenen See vieles über die Tiere und Pflanzen. Das Management organisierte für uns einen Ausflug zum Nationalpark mit einem Fahrer, der ein gutes Auge für die Flora und Fauna hatte. Die spätere Entspannung am Pool und ein gutes Abendessen haben wunderbaren Tag abgeschlossen.

Als wir angekommen sind , wurden wir herzlich begrüsst und der Besitzer Manju hat uns direkt mitgenommen für eine kleine Nachttour um Tiere wie Krokodile und den Sonnenuntergang über den See anzuschauen. Das Essen war mega lecker und das Zimmer gross, sauber und bequem! Man kann direkt eine Safari buchen, was wir gemacht haben, es war megaaaa! Auch andere Aktivitäten kann man direkt bei Manju buchen er bietet Touren für ganz Sri Lanka an. Danke für den perfekten Aufenthalt, wir kommen wieder🙂

We had contact with the owner prior the the arrival and organized a safari with him. The safari was good, we saw many animals and the driver left the animals space if they needed or wanted to cross the road. The place itself is nice, very big houses and a huge bed. With AC nice temperature in the room. The area around the houses is well cared for and there is a nice pool and even the possibility to walk to a lake nearby (we didn't do it, as it was dark). We ate diner there and it was very nice, also the packed food for the safari was delicious.

Sadly the driver of the organized safari had very limited english skills. The place is a bit off the main part, but to be honest, there aren't more restaurant in the 'city' so eating at the hotel is perfectly fine. The mosquito net was too small for the bed, but with AC we had no problem with them anyways.

A very quiet jungle type accommodation. Lovey cottages with lots of space and a veranda. Nice clean swimming to relax after a trek in the Jungle. One of the staff took for an evening tour around the lake. No charge, it was nice to all the wild birds. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Manju, the owner, is an official Tour Guide, so if you need help in visiting places, Manju is your man.

This is very peaceful place, few cottages in the middle of nowhere. Peacocks are walking around, you can hear birds singing all the time.

I would work on rooms cleanliness.

Posizione incantevole immersa nella natura. La villa è molto grande tutto pulito e ben curato la piscina favolosa. Cibo veramente eccezionale. Abbiamo fatto anche una bella passeggiata accompagnati da un ragazzo, fino al lago vicino al tramonto fantastico e il giorno dopo abbiamo fatto il Safari. Peccato aver prenotato solo per due notti 😃

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft, mehrere kleine(naja, eigentlich große Häuser auf einem grünen Areal. Ein Pool zum entspannen. Abends ein Spaziergang mit dem Guide des Hauses in den Sonnenuntergang 👍🏼toll👍🏼 Das Essen, es muss einem nicht alles schmecken, aber das traditionelle Gericht war der Hammer. Die Safari am nächsten Tag dort auch gebucht war der Hit. Viel gesehen viel Erlebt. (auch wenn es für meinen Geschmack etwas zu teuer war) bisher die beste Unterkunft auf meiner Reise.
