The Mayfair Hotel

The room was very spacious with a double bed. Being disabled, being on the ground floor helped immensely. The staff are very helpful.

Unfortunately, this room doesn't have ensuite facilities so I had to go down a short hallway and down 3 stairs to get to the toilet. Not an issue in the day, but impossible at night. The showers are on the first floor without a stair lift, so are out of consideration. The room is easily big enough to contain a shower and toilet. Victorian plumbing is just an excuse.

Easy check-in. The room was clean and well equipped. I stayed in a room which used a shared bathroom & toilet. These were clean and spacious. Quiet but very close to the seafront.

There was an issue with the door access code, but this was quickly resolved by the host.

Close to sea

The basement apartment, I booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night left the door open most of the day to get rid of the smell that lingered the sofa was stained, the carpet was stained the kitchen had splits in the lino, we felt unsafe as anyone could smash a pane and unlock the door there was no internal bolts on the door, did not understand why there was a door leading from the hotel entrance down to the basement apartment and where we had no lock on the bedroom door anyone could enter. Did not get to see any staff only spoke by phone.

For the money everything was fine!

I loved the roses , Victorian house, the room was well equipped and lovely decorated . We had free parking and the hotel is located across the street from the beach.

The whole experience was really lovely and very cosy definitely would come again

The room was very comfortable and clean. Hairdryer and fridge in the room. Also some crockery, it was very useful.

The front door code did not always work but staff sorted it.

Tv. Remote didn't work even after staff changed batteries. Preffferd key to get in after night out trying. Find code given on phone bit of task. Maybe a fan put in longe as quite warm. As no window's in lounge..
