HOTEL & BEACH CLUB OJO DE AGUA

The location is great, beach front and very walkable. Our room had a balcony that I was hoping for but not expecting from the description and photos. Bar on site made great drinks. The beach club use was nice to have.

It’s fine for what it is, but not as advertised. A wardrobe but with no hangers, a little fridge but no mini bar, receptacle for a hair dryer but no hairdryer. None of these issues were a problem for us but there were also no blankets on the bed or in the room, there was a light coverlet but we were there in January when it gets colder at night. Club music was repetitive and not great.

À notre arrivée à l'hotel il y avait beaucoup d'action, le personnel était affairé à la préparation d'un mariage qui avait lieu sur place ce soir là. On a finalement pu monter à notre chambre, qui n'était pas représentative des photos. La partie hotel manque d'entretient, la peinture serait à refaire et le mobilier et installation à rafraichir. Nous devions avoir une vue sur le jardin, mais c'était plus une vue sur le terrain d'à côté, qui ressemblait plus à un lieu pour mettre des déchets. Vers 16h00 ils ont démarré une génératrice très bruyante pour le mariage, ça brisait la quiétude au bord de la piscine et ce son désagréable a duré jusqu'à 1h00 du matin, impossible de s'endormir, en plus de la musique qui était très forte. J'ai avisé l'accueil, mais il m'ont répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire, notre première nuit a donc été à oublier ... Le lendemain j'ai demandé un changement de chambre, et nous avons pu aller dans les kabanas, situées autour de la piscine. L'ambiance était mieux et les lits très confortables, ça a rendu la fin de notre séjour plus agréable. La piscine n'était pas très entretenue, mais d'une belle grandeur et avec un bel ensoleillement, collé sur le stationnement, mais ce n'est pas tant nuisible. Le tour de la piscine manquait de mobilier toutefois. La situation géographique était bien, près de tout et sur le bord de la mer.

No instruction regarding use of beach loungers, etc. No face clothes. Something was wrong with the mini split in our room - it kept us up all night long. The lamp was broken. Only 1 plug in the whole room so we had to choose between the lamp or cell phone chargers. Property photos did not match the room provided at all. Beds and pillows are terribly hard. Patio door had broken glass. Lack of lighting in bathroom. Etc.

Beachfront location, close to restaurants and very walkable. Service at the Beach Club was very slow, but friendly. Great food. Having free access to the Beach Club is why we booked this property. Wifi was really good from room to beach club. Great view from our Sea View King Room.

Compared to any of the other places we have stayed over the years in PM, this hotel’s whole value can be summed up by being on the beach and having access to the beach club. Other than that, the rest of the facilities and experience is not up to par for the price. Not having drinking water in the room, no cups (had to “borrow” one from the restaurant to brush our teeth with), a leaky ceiling in the bathroom that dripped water onto the counter and would leave pools of water on the floor, a shower head that spits out a trickle of water because of how rusted it was, zero place for clothing save for four hangers, a broken TV, fridge that freezes your drinks on the lowest setting, only one harsh overhead light in the room. Tiny thin towels, and no foot washing station or rubber rugs to help manage sand like we have seen at any other beachfront hotel.

The hotel staff is amazing. The rooms and very clean and kept really cold. The pool is small but relaxing and never busy. The beach club access with free beach chairs is an awesome bonus! Stephanie the waitress at the beach is the BEST! Always fresh water at the front desk to fill your cup which was nice. The only thing I think I would change or recommend is to offer a bottle of water or two in each mini fridge. Everything far exceeeds our expectations every time. It’s our favorite little sanctuary!

la chambre que j'ai réservé avec une vue sur mer était en réalité une vue sur un coté bien limité. le palier de la chambre était face à l'évacuation de la hotte du restaurant (sur le toit) qui fonctionnait jusqu'à 11 heure du soir et remis en route le matin de bonne heure

Que no respetaron la reserva pagada. Se pago una habitación con vista al mar y la asignaron con vista a pasillo lateral del hotel, argumentando que estaba lleno. Debo aclarar que, para evitar cualquier inconveniente no sólo reservé, sino que pagué la habitación desde un mes antes de la llegada.
