"Great stay in Puerto Morales"

Super staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice waterfront restaurant with shady spaces. Beautiful super long public beach. Clean ocean. Excellent enormous breakfast. We were glad we didn't prepay the breakfasts because we often only needed to buy one and had enough to share. Although our 3rd floor balcony view was obstructed by the palm branches, it was shady and comfortable due to those palm branches. You can book the snorkeling tour at the hotel and it is slightly cheaper. Conveniently close to the town. Clean pool with comfortable water temperature and a small wading area separated for children. This hotel has three options. We liked staying in this option because it is right at the beach club instead of down the road.

No chairs, side tables, coffee maker, or hangers for clothes in the room. Very low water pressure in shower and toilet. Everything a little rundown. Beach cushions are not nearly new. Still a lovely place to stay but don't have luxury expectations.

Room not as described (ocean view was a wall) and noisy place. Room smelled of fried food.

This hotel is comparable if not superior to other 3 star hotels I have seen in Yucatan and Quintana Roo. It is basic by American standards, but it has all you need. It is also surprisingly quiet, considering it's a beach club.

I hope it was an isolated accident, but the room didn't have blankets (nor heating) in potentially the coldest night of the year (16 Celsius). They didn't even have them in the lobby, so our first night was pretty uncomfortable, we had to wear outdoor clothes to keep ourselves warm. Blankets arrived on day 2, and then everything was fine.
