Remarkable hotel in the heart of Carrick-on-Suir. Smooth check-in. Room was spotless with all necessities provided. Staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful, with a special mention to the bar staff. Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. I would highly recommend The Carraig Hotel.

The curiosity that is the up and down, around and around getting to your room with heavy suitcase that we've seen in a few older Irish inns/hotels.

Perfect location for the town and it was perfect for a family gathering. The breakfast included was fantastic. Really close to a lovely castle to visit.

The rooms are clean but dark probably need some updating we had a leak in our room so there was a damp smell but the staff gave a complementary drinks voucher to apologize. I feel the food and drink was overpriced for what it is in to comparison to other places in Ireland.

Some staff were friendly and obliging. Room was very clean.

Heat was on in the room almost all the time. No facility to reduce it or turn it off. Staff could not turn it off either. Room was uncomfortably hot. Breakfast was poor and dining room too dark.
