Lovely staff, seemed a bit expensive compated with others. We cd hear the people next door hanging up their clothes and talking very clearly, but old properties are impossible to soundproof, so that is not a complaint

"Lovely stay in a lovely town, with all we needed for an overnight stay."

Great bar area, good selection of meals and snacks, excellent breakfast, staff that we dealt with were all lovely. Room spacious and had all we needed for an overnight stay (on a band tour).

We had to ask for the heating to be put on - it was on a timer, and the manager had forgotten to over-ride it, on what was a pretty cold day. This was dealt with very quickly, though.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town,friendly staff and really helpful,rooms are good,not big rooms but enough space for 2,quiet room even though we were overlooking the road.
