This is a beautiful stay. Comfortable bed and warm room on a chilly night.

The staff. Unwelcoming. I had been recommended Rawdons as a welcoming country hotel. And as lovely as the setting was, it really is staff that make it a welcoming experience.

Die Lage ist sehr schön mit grossem Garten und Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien

Das erste Hotel in dem wir uns nicht willkommen gefühlt haben. Von Empfang (nicht freundlich) zu einem kalten, klammen Zimmer ohne Heizer , Fernseher hat nicht funktioniert trotz Reklamation . Upgrade wurde zugesagt, aber Zimmer war Standard. Im Bad der Spiegel hatten einen Durchmesser von 20 cm. Reservierung für Abendessen nicht erfolgt, ein Tisch in einem kalten Nebenraum wurde angeboten. Preis-Leistung nicht gegeben- von uns nicht zu empfehlen. Hotelleitung scheint abwesend zu sein.

Room was very nice. Pillows need replacing & hairdryer was very poor quality and then stopped working but besides these 2 small things everything else was great. Breakfast was wonderful all boxes ticked for anything you wanted. The furnishings were top quality and beautiful. Loved the underfloor heating & heated towel rack in the bathroom. The views of the water were lovely too.

Pillows needed replacing as they have no filling. Hairdryer poor quality.

Beds very comfortable. Beautiful setting. Lovely peaceful atmosphere. Stunning walks around the property. Well marked out.

Food was very disappointing. Service at breakfast was terrible. Not enough staff for a public holiday morning.

It has such old world charm in a beautiful setting. The pub is great and cozy with fires lit daily. Close the shops in Nottingham Road and other attractions

It is a little tired in parts. Bed a little springy.
