Hotel Giardinetto

Location was perfect. Cleanliness of room was top standard. Decor was tasteful and modern. Some lovely personal touches as well throughout the stay.

Breakfast was very basic, would have been great to have some more varied options on different days as every day was the same selection. It is a little bit inconvenient that there were no reception staff for a few hours around midday as it meant there was no one able to help with any enquiries. Would be a great addition to add a removable mesh topper over the rooftop jacuzzi to stop bird poop landing in the water when it is not in use.

The staff were very welcoming and on hand for anything we needed. The cleanliness was first class. Breakfast was excellent. Room and location, excellent

The man in charge was quite rude.

The location. The hotel is situated directly across from the Lake in the centre of everything, restaurants and shops all around which we love. It is a beautiful location. No problem with noise. The hotel was refurbished a few years ago and we had a Lakeside DeLuxe Suite on the Top floor. It was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Stunning views of the Lake and all that was going on outside. The room had a kettle and fridge. 5 minutes walk to the ferry and the same to the bus station. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful in every way.

Really didn’t like that the hotel didn’t have a lounge or Sitting Room with comfortable sofas and chairs. We had a few hours to wait on the day of departure on a very Rainy day and the only place to go was the empty dining room . I found Breakfast time a hassle every single morning- going round looking for and then having to ask for cups, a teapot, spoons, plates etc. ‘Are there more eggs , is there bread, are there croissants? ‘ usually No was the answer. Car parking seems to be quite a distance from the hotel. We didn’t need a car.

Location on the lake. Staff were friendly. Hotel was beautiful. One of our favourite places and would stay again!

Rooftop Terrace closes at 7 pm which was a shame if out all day and wanting a few quiet drinks on the roof before dinner - unsure if this is a regulation or hotel policy. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The breakfast selection could be improved. It was satisfactory but could be much better by adding a few extra hot options.

location was excellent, right on the lake, couldn't get any closer. lovely to wake up to every morning. hotel was excellent, breakfast was great 👍🏼 very friendly staff. spotless clean.

room could've had a full length mirror on the wall but everything else was excellent 👌🏼

We had a fabulous stay at the hotel, it is a small but beautiful hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and our balcony view onto Lake Garda was splendid. There's a lift, which is a great accessibility feature. The hotel also felt secure as you could only enter at night with your room key. It's very well situated, in the middle of everything and a short 5 minute walk to a bus stop or ferry. The breakfast in the morning was great, a mix of continental and some heated items such as eggs, sausages and bacon. Staff were also very friendly and happy to help with any requests or give recommendations. We felt very welcome with our 2 and 12 year old.

My only snag would be the plug sockets as we could only use one of them with our European adapter.
