Everything about the Taj Connemara was excellent

How short my stay was

Peace and quiet in the heart of Chennai.

Some minor items were forgotten. Like the shaving items and a comb.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. Always smiling, polite and very helpful.

The hotel is tired and needs a full refurbishment. The first room that was given to me was atrocious. The toilet was actually broken and I had to upgrade myself to a better room. Fortunately, the staff were very helpful and made this shift possible with minimum inconvenience.

Heritage of the property

Room was damp as AC was kept off .

Both my wife and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I enjoyed the filter coffee and the south Indian delihts like Das, Vada, etc. We will like to use the same facility on our next vist to chennai.

Only problem was with TV connection and should be improved.

Un havre de tranquillité et de sérénité dans le bouillonnant Chennai. Les restaurants les massages la piscine et les chambres. Non avons particulièrement apprécié le personnel de l’accueil.

Un service négligeant un peu l’extérieur et les bords de piscine durant le petit déjeuner. Mais nous étions les seuls à désirer être dehors !

The staff went out of the way to help us. Pranav and miss Jasmine on reception were very helpful in getting our room ready early and even arranged an upgrade. Pranav and Ravi (on the entrance door) also helped when we were having trouble arranging an uber for onward travel. The pool was even better than it looks in the photo and the location is great. Walking distance to the government museum and the wild cafe
