Hotel Rheingerbe

Das Frühstück war vielfältig und sehr gut. Die Tapas mundeten sehr. Unsere Freunde aus Südfrankreich waren begeistert. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

Déjà la découverte de stein am rhein est une vraie belle surprise..superbe village . Ensuite l'hôtel est super bien placé au bord du Rhin. le personnel était très bien surtout la dame du petit déjeuner. La chambre était très propre spacieuse et très belle salle de bain.. Nous avons très bien dormi et pas un bruit de l'extérieur.. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le petit déjeuner et ses choix multiples .. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de tester le restaurant

Wir erhielten ungefragt ein Upgrade auf die eine Suite. Die Grösse und die Einrichtung waren top. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen und die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich und aufmerksam.

The friendly welcoming staff from moment one was so nice! Noli, Visnic, Christian, Daniel, Rebecca made our one night stay so lovely we wanted more! We had a timing schedule or we would have booked more nights even tho the stairs to our room were steep! 3 levels up with a badly twisted knee wasn’t fun. However….the kindness & friendliness of the staff and our exceptional dinner outside under large umbrellas made up for that discomfort. An incredible meal! Visnic, our main server was kind, attentive & made suggestions. Christian kindly spent a lot of time with my husband & me choosing the right wine which was very good, & it was fun chatting with him & our servers. We shared an excellent Chilled Tomato Soup with feta & chopped bacon I believe & a lovely Salad with warm goat cheese & thinly sliced fresh garden Beets. I chose Trout with an incredible Riesling cream sauce, it was accompanied by roasted potatoes & vegetables. My husband chose the Sea Bass (with crispy skin) with the same vegetables. It was all so good we couldn’t stop raving about it to the staff. We finished with the perfect warm Apple Strudel, a thin pastry over very fresh flavor packed apple slices. I would take the Chef and the staff home with us if we could. This was a very memorable meal & one of the highlights of our time in Switzerland June 2026!

We loved Hotel Rheingerbe so much I hate to mention the stairs, which are steep. Owners would have an lift but the hotel is classified as a historic building so it’s not allowed. They are trying to figure something out.
