Rooms on small side. Road leading up full of potholes

Location suited us.

The rooms were not at all like the picture above. The bedrooms were small, the beds were very small double beds and not that comfortable. No photos but we were in rooms 6 and 8.

Location of the hotel next to the river Trent was very scenic with nice riverside walks. Good evening meal options... Portions seemed on the small side. Very good options for breakfast. Really liked the entire decor throughout the premises. Would definitely stay here again

A little disappointed with our check in. No one at the reception on arrival when someone did show up we were told that someone would be with us soon. A further 5 minutes elapsed before we were able to check in. To be fair it looks like she was also looking after the main bar too. So may be there was staffing issues.

It was noisy in the morning, especially the cleaners talking loudly, it wasn't helped with gaps under the bedroom doors and the wooden flooring.

The noise late at night from other residents at the hotel 12 30 am and shouting and banging of doors ..didn't really enjoy the experience not relaxing

Clean , good facilities and value for money

Nothing

The property was perfect however the Hotel was not aware that booking. Com had said our room was changed form the disability room

Honestly, everything. The room was lovely and quirky. The food was AMAZING. Staff were friendly, easy access during all hours of the night too. and the bed was super comfy which you dont find at alot of places no a days!!
