Rooms clean and a good breakfast

Location is a little bit out of the way .

Setting

Decent full English breakfast (a range of other options available including vegetarian). Plenty of seating, weekday timing 7 to 9am which was a little earlier than we would have liked ideally (we attended a wedding reception the night before) but it wasn’t a big deal.

Room (4) was a little on the small side for 2 adults but bathroom was roomy. Adequate for our 1 night stay but maybe we’d need more space for a longer stay?

We stayed as a group of 10 (24 to 26 April) for a work event in the area. We landed lucky with the weather and made fantastic use of the beer garden. It was just glorious. Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and it was good value for money. We couldn’t fault our stay at all :)

Location & cleanliness

Breakfast very disappointing, coffee in hot jug ran out, breakfast overcooked, was not told about cereals etc also available.as part of price. Staff very polite but suggest training needed. Because staff so nice we did not feel able to complain.

Prior knowledge that bed was only standard double I.e. not king-size would have been helpful. Room much smaller than picture showed but exceptionally clean. Bathroom exceptionally good.

The staff, the location, the atmosphere, one of the cleaner places I've stayed over the years.thanks alot.

A good couple of hard days tidying the back, the hut roof, and the re rendering the wall with a lock of paint... Needs a a quick refresh before it slips down on appeal Pillows hard
