Torel Terra Brava

It is located right near the center of the city, which means it is walking distance to many stores, restaurants and places of interest. The hotel is excellently designed to exude a sense of calm and relaxation at all times. The decor throughout the hotel is beautiful and very thoughtfully arranged with a great sense of colour, texture and a unique experience overall. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. They are great to even have a quick chat with. I loved the indoor and outdoor pool, with the dry and steam saunas. Very nice touch that I have not seen at other hotels. The food is excellent, very fresh and the chef(s) really are masters of their craft. I would highly recommend staying here.

Refund Request – Misrepresentation and Breach of Contract at [Torel Terra Brava Hotel (Booking #5442638905) Hello, We are  writing to formally request a refund for the three nights we did not stay at Hotel Torel Terra Brava, which we booked for our girls’ spa weekend from Oct 3-7 4 nights. We paid €345 per night based on Booking.com’s description of a “new luxury  spa hotel” with full amenities, including a spa and restaurant. When we arrived, we found the property to be completely misrepresented. The Calla Wellness Spa was NOT  open, NO  steam bath, a sauna that shuts off and we would have to go upstairs to turn on, a pool with 6 chairs, that was the length of the very small pool that looked at a bare concrete wall. The restaurant was closed, which Beatrice informed us of on our tour, even though the menu is visible in the elevator. None of the features advertised as a luxury refreshing and revitalizing SPA central to our booking were available. The hallways were heavily perfumed, apparently masking another odor, and Amberly broke out in hives shortly after arriving. The rooms and showers were extremely small, especially since they said we were getting an Executive and the pool area could only accommodate six chairs facing a wall—nothing like the photos or description online. We immediately raised our concerns with Booking.com. We were advised that they would reach out to the property. We did not hear back in the morning and called Booking.com and they said they were still waiting to hear back.  We decided to find another hotel so that we would not be stuck in this dungeon of a hotel. We told the front desk receptionist Beatrice that we were checking out. The gentleman, Francesco came up to us and he was dismissive and unhelpful. His exact words were, “I can’t force you to stay here; what you’re looking for doesn’t exist.” He offered to “bring in a massage therapist,” which is not the same as having an operational luxurious revitalizing, refreshing  SPA vacation.

We thought the hotel itself was really nice. Very new and very classy. Beautiful decor and absolutely lovely staff. The breakfast was incredible. The location is perfect for Angra and note there is free parking about 5minute walk from the hotel.

Very little. It was all great. There aer some unfinished items still to be completed like the sauna and the restaurant. But it didnt interupt the stay at all.

Hôtel magnifique, chambre élégante avec une décoration soignée. Emplacement idéal. Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant, même s’il semble encore en phase de rodage : une erreur de chambre a été faite à notre arrivée. Très bon petit-déjeuner.

Pas de terrasse, pas de parking, ni de jacuzzi. Le prix du snack nous a paru vraiment excessif, voire un peu ridicule au vu de ce qui a été servi : 11 € pour pour un minuscule sandwich composé d’un petit pain de petit-déjeuner toasté avec une tranche de fromage… Difficile à comprendre.

This is a newly opened hotel with a beautiful interior and superb customer service. All the staff were very kind and welcoming, happy to help with any requests. Beatriz kindly organised a late check out for us which we greatly appreciated and special thanks to Jose who was particularly friendly and made us feeling very welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
