"Good stay but could have considered guests a little more"

Location Bar area aesthetically pleasing and cosy

Stairwell and rooms a bit care worn Electricity outage - generator not working Not good if you require a breathing machine for sleep apnoea. No hot breakfast as a result - could have offered brunch later or some refund , discount from evening meal 🤔 3rd bed in room was a spring bed and some of the springs had sprung - resulting in a poor night's sleep for my daughter

Everything !! Very friendly staff, beautiful room facing the castly, excellent evening meal and breakfast ( local kipper) and very convenient for the island paths and abbey

Friendly staff, lovely breakfast got upgraded room at no extra cost which was beautiful with views of castle and priory.

Weather was bad rain couldn't explore much due to this but will be back in nicer weather

"A wonderful location just needs updating."

The location was wonderful and the staff were friendly and helping. The evening meal we had was delicious.

The accommodation was not very clean. It really needs updating. We are staying in a Premier Inn tonight and it is much cleaner and more comfortable.

Beautiful and historic manor house in the prime spot on the island, I would say! Everything was very smart, clean and the room was elegantly furnished and felt like a beautiful step Back in time.

"We had a lovely few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life,"

We have stayed here before and love it's location, the staff are always friendly and very helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and food delicious. Feels like home from home. Always feel a bit sad when we go over the causeway back to the everyday world.
