Wonderful old quaint building , lovely clean bedroom and very comfortable bed.

Staff were lovely, so helpful and kind

Good English breakfast with option to rotate selections; excellent location in centre of village and walkable distance to Carding Mill Valley and hiking areas

no lift; all the rooms are upstairs, but this is to be expected for a historic building; you'll need to factor bringing your luggage up to the second floor; you can also hear the music from the pub downstairs, but it was pretty muffled in my room and so did not disturb me

Lovely and old, traditional pub feel. Lively friendly land lady. Really great catering of breakfast for gluten allergies.

Andy & Sarah were great hosts, very welcoming. The hotel is great, very comfortable pub with lovely, clean, spacious rooms, delicious homemade food and good beer. There was an 80’s night on when we stayed which was a fantastic party with a very talented duo of musicians. All in all we had a really fabulous stay.

Good choice of food for breakfast, and individually prepared for what we ordered. Lovely friendly staff. Helpful location for all that we were doing in terms of work and visiting friends.

The location was excellent and the staff extremely helpful.

Ideal location, especially for lovers of the outdoors and the landscape. Peaceful.
