The setting is beautiful even with the bell chimes.

"Genuine inn atmosphere in a prime location"

I had a large room at the front of the hotel that was comfortable to relax in. Once you have checked in you don't have to go through the bar - there is a separate hotel entrance that you get a key to. The staff are very friendly. The location is right in the centre of this pretty town. I parked overnight on the street outside but there is also a public car park nearby.
