Nice friendly place and people. Location fantastic- to access Long Mynd and nearby beautiful hills and countryside, as well as being in the heart of Church Stretton. Great breakfast

Lovely pub. Room was clean and had everything we needed. In the perfect location. Car park over the road. Which is free from 6pm to 8am. If you don't want to be running out of the hotel in your PJ's at 8am to pay for later parking. You can pay after 6pm. We went back to the car park after 6pm paid for 3 hours which took us two 11am. Parking is only 60 pence and hour.

The bedroom and ensuite were a little dated but clean.and fairly spacious. The Landlady was friendly and served a great breakfast.

A shame there was no car parking at the pub but the public car park was very near

"Wonderful relaxing stay"

Only a short walk from the railway station. I liked my room, spacious and very comfortable. I had the best scrambled eggs and mushrooms ever for breakfast, very tasty. Sarah was absolutely fabulous. I only stayed for one night, but I am planning to return in June, hopefully for a couple of nights this time. I highly recommend this beautiful little place.
