Havelock Farms Resort

Nothing much other than the location - close to beach and restaurants. Rooms and bathroom were large and clean. Friendly but untrained staff.

Very poor situation, with staff never available for anything, breakfast included in booking was VERY poor with limp dosas and all, kitchen hygiene was poor with regular work going on there, stray dogs roaming in the premises, cups and glasses in the room were grossly inadequate, requests for cab booking not done on time.

Breakfast was average with limited options

Rooms beds and pillow cases were full of termite dusts not cleaned properly..some room had door jammed whilst other didn't have hot water coming..

Nice quiet place efficiently run, clean. Lots of eating joints in walking distance

Restaurant was very basic. Good simple but could be better. Run unprofessionally but very cheap.

The resort is in a good location and everything was smooth. Rooms were clean and up to the mark. They also have offer scuba diving registration, bike, cab on request.

Nice accommodation, with lots of greenery, which attracts wildlife as well. They rent out electric scooters (when we were there 600rps per 24h), which was perfect to get around. Staff is also very accommodating.

First room we got was falling apart a little. The fan was wobbly attached to a wooden plank, no water pressure and a cockroach. However, the staff did upgrade us to a new room, which was much better. Water pressure did not get much better. Communication with some of the staff was a bit unclear.

Rooms need renovation (noisy fan, wood-eating bugs, cockroaches in the bathroom, humid and stuffy, no window). Although the staff responded in to the best of their abilities, we found the property itself to be overpriced - we paid almost INR 6k per night but the room felt more on a 3k level.
