The location is ideal, close to the station, market, and the temple. The room is generally comfortable, staff were helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

I did not like two things. First, there were small roaches in the room. Second, they provide a kettle, but won't give you tea/coffee bags/pouches. You have to buy it separately from them. Same with the water bottle as well, only one 1L bottle per day per room is complimentary. For the rent we paid, this seemed weird.

The staff was polite and ready to help. Location was close to railway station and shopping places and restaurants.

We stayed three nights, good location, by station and temple, staff were friendly and accommodating sorting out an extra night, bed comfortable and room clean

WiFi was a bit patchy on one side of the room, ( minor issue) the drain from the shower blocked partially on day 2 but we were moving rooms for the day as we had a night train departure so we didn't see if it was fixed(not much of an issue) The disappointment and hence negative score was finding a dead, very large, cockroach in the breakfast that must have got onto the breakfast recently as it was not broken up or mashed up and the antenae were still intact. Fortunately, I spotted it in one of the curry dishes ( dont know what it was called) before my wife noticed and stopped her eating any more. This was quietly pointed out to the waiting staff and the plate handed to them so as to not cause a scene in the restaurant. This was then additionaly raised with the person at reception. We were informed they buy the food in as opposed to make it on site and that it would be looked into. We left it there. I've been to India quite a few times over the years and I feel I have reasonable expectations depending on the circumstances but this was bad. (We paid our bill in full and did not ask for any form of discount etc..)
