Great location, staff was very friendly and helpful, cozy hotel, we were sad to leave after 5 days

Such a cozy stay! The sitting room with a fireplace in between a couple of rooms was the highlight of my Cotswolds trip. I could have lounged in that room for days. Great food, service, comfortable beds. Overall a very pleasant stay... an amazing location as well right next to the doors of Durin. And we were driving in the car park for the hotel was spacious and easy to find/park in.

A bit warm in the rooms upstairs because, well, heat goes upward. But the desk fan in the room worked out great. I think air conditioning is not something commonly found in any part of the Cotswolds fwiw (though would be amazing if it existed).

Bar closed at 2pm despite having a full bear garden. Definite loss of profit for hotel
