the bathroom was across the landing and we wasn't told about this before hand

It was central to all shops, pubs, restaurants. We booked two rooms, a double and a twin room. The twin room was spacious, (4) clean and well kempt The separate bathroom was large and spacious The double room (7) was smaller but ok . Clean I have to say we had a problem with the heating. When we asked the owner if they could help. Immediately someone came to the room and sorted the radiator. Very impressive service.

We knew it had bathrooms separate to the bedrooms . What we didn't realise it was down a corridor, past two other bedrooms. But I must say that is down to us. If we booked again we would book a different room.

Beautiful location and lovely sized room for a short stay. It was warm and clean and a very comfy bed!!

parking was a slight issue as it was a busy time of the year but nothing to do with the hotel!

Very cozy, everything was clean- essentials: tea, coffee + little sherry. The extra touch with the robes and slippers was lovely.
