The staff were so friendly and warm. Everything was very well thought out in terms of amenities, and the daily breakfast was so good! The private in-room onsen was very convenient too.

Staff were amazing! Friendly and helpful at all times. They definitely upheld the standard of a traditional Japanese ryokan. Food was great, both breakfast and dinner, truly enjoyed my meals. The room was spacious with an incredible view. Definitely enjoyed the onsen as well mini-bar that was provided.

Bed was a little hard but to each his own. Definitely a situation with mozzies in the area of Izu but nothing much to complain about since you are on a road trip afterall. Insect sprays and repellents are readily available.
