Albeit slightly expensive, the private room was HUGE, by all standards. There was a kitchenette area, and two separate tatami rooms. Perfect for families or a group of people. The garden was beautiful.

Some parts did not seem properly clean.

Old and cold but had character and charm. Loved the room too!

It’s like of in the middle of nowhere but a good pit stop for me.

Beautiful Japanese style room. Wonderful staff, very kind and helpful. Easy access by T bus (do not go to the Gora train station!! The walk is steep crumbling stairs). Great location, easy to get T bus directly down to Hakone ropeway. T bus to H bus to Motohakone can take a little while due to transfers. Everything is very comfortable, clean, all amenities provided.

I couldn't get the wifi to work, but the cell phone internet signal is very good for multiple networks.

The property is spacious, got very things I needed.The host provided me a a single room with all the stuffs I needed and dropped by to help me in about 5 minutes and answer all my questions and she was very nice to me.

The property was very quiet and all of he amenities are in the room.

Onsen not working. No public bath . Only public shower. No private bath or shower. Hostess unable to speak English.

Lovely couple running the place helped us with our bags and showed us where to go around town. Appartment was lovely and felt very traditional.

The bus runs that runs from Gora station is a bit infrequent. It is walkable from gora station but not with any bags as it is a very steep route.
