歩絵夢の森 Pension Poem no mori

The location was near the ski resort but there were no shops or restaurants within walking distance as all the roads are snowed in. It meant we had to take a taxi to get anywhere which was expensive. The staff were friendly.

The towels (on request) are the size of a dish cloth. You are only allowed to shower between 3 and 9pm. You have to book dinner or breakfast 1-2 days in advance. The meals were over-priced. The breakfast was insufficient. There is no facility anywhere to make tea or coffee or use a fridge or microwave. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. This is more like a student digs and I would strongly advise against staying here if you are a family.

他の人は配慮して過ごしてるのに、運悪くとなりの若者たちがドアバンバン閉める、壁に当たる、結構大声で話す。でしたが施設のせいではなく、お隣の過ごし方の問題

The location is very close to the ski slope. Food tastes good. Staff all speak English. Reliable wifi (but became slow when there are more guests). Has a decent shower room. 300 yen discount on the lift ticket. Owner and staff smile a lot.

The amount of food, especially breakfast, is not enough compared to other similar ryokans I've stayed in this area, and because the dining room is cold, the food at breakfast is also usually cold (fried eggs should not be put right next to cold canned fruits). There is a quota for hot tea, one small cup per person per day. I would think hot tea is inexpensive and such service leaves a bad impression. Ski equipment from the ryokan is not well maintained and owner refused to fix them when he was told about the problems, admitted that it's very cheap (2000 yen per day). It's also impossible to make adjustments on bookings regarding the number of people and useless to call the owner either. You will have to cancel your reservation on bookings and rebook. This should be a very easy service to provide.

スタッフの方々の対応がすごく良かった。笑い有りで話し易い。食事も美味しかったです。家族全員大満足で本当に良い思い出を作ることが出来ました。また機会があれば来たいと思う場所でした。

特にありませんがシャワーの水圧が少し弱かったです。

地理位置距离雪场很近，走路2分钟

早餐品种单一是次要的，主要问题是数量实在太少，无奈只能靠不停的加吃面包填饱肚子。晚餐同样是量少，而且每一道菜都要服务员端上来，貌似法式服务，但实在没必要流于形式，因为量少，菜上来一口就没了，每个人都在等待下一盘菜何时上来。美颜一句的话，确实米饭很好吃，据说是老板家自己种的。租雪具便宜，但是不提供打腊服务。我们租的雪具因为缺少保养，在雪地上不能滑行，只能走，最后没办法滑雪教练帮忙打了蜡，叮嘱我们第二天要打蜡。当晚问了老板，老板说我有私人的蜡，但是我不能给你用，因为我不提供这项服务。我说我可以付费，老板依然坚持没有这项服务，让我去别的租赁雪具的地方打蜡，搞得我很无语。

Cosy bed and breakfast located from the main area, still close enough to hakuba goryu skis, service was wonderful with both brekkie and dinner provided after a long day of skiing. Our family of 4 had the loft bedroom which had plenty of space, one thing to take note is the communal showers and toilets, which wasn’t an issue for us.
