Hotel Akash - Luxury Hotel In McLeodganj

the property was centrally located on the main road in McLeodganj and was really easy to find and only a five minute walk from the Dalai Lama’s residence and Main Tibetan Temple.

We can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.

Very clean and the staff is very kind ! Location is also good, easy to go everywhere in Dharamsala, Dharamkot and Baghsu. They can also drive you to these places.

The staff was very nice. We came in the middle of the night and they send a driver to pick us from the bus station. My friend had birthday so they upgraded us to upper floor 🤗. Very clean and feels new.

From the beginning, we were really impressed with the owner, who greeted us with a traditional Namaste and a big reverence. Exceptional courtesy and customer care, everything you need from transportation from /to the airport, chai in the room, food delivery, organized trips just for you, etc. The hotel itself is located in the central area, but just a bit off the main noisy street. It has various restaurants left and right within 100m ( 300 ft), from vegetarian Japanese to Euro Asian blend, nice and cozy, with great music and views of the Himalayas. The room looked perfect, very comfortable mattress and plenty of pillows, with a nice sitting area and a coffee table, a large shower with hot water, and a little cute balcony with amazing, breathtaking views of the Himalayas. See photo bellow. Very good value for the money. We are already planning our next trip there and we highly recommended this hotel.

The hotel was very clean & staff was exceptional. The hotel doesn’t have heat but they went out of their way to get us a heater and extra blankets for the nights. This hotel is in a very good location. Close to many restaurants, shops & sights such as Dalai Lama temple, Tushita, St John’s church, etc…

it was cold at nights and the hotel has no heating system.
