"Better than a much more expensive hotel in Moffat (I've done both)"

That was the most pleasant evening/night I have ever spent in a hotel of it's kind (meaning 'motel' type hotel). The staff were helpful, polite and welcoming, and you can step out into the peaceful countryside out the back and take a walk round the lake; a world apart from the motorway. I will stop there whenever I'm doing the same journey.
